DIERS DICAM stands for Digital Imaging, Communication & Application Management.

Central administration of various measurement systems, synchronous recording operation and a uniform operating structure are steadily gaining in significance. DICAM was developed for this as a universal software platform and provides the option of data transmission to other computer stations as well as enabling external data transfer.
